Wednesday 04/07/10

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Back Squat
5-5-5-3-3-3

Compare to 03/31/10.

For time:
150 Push-ups

Every time you stop and rest with your chest on the ground it constitutes a penalty. If a penalty is counted, you must immediately sprint 1/2 Down-back. Once the penalty is completed, continue with the push-ups. You can rest in the pike position (the top of the push-up) but once you cannot do push-ups any longer and need to rest on the ground a penalty is counted and sprint must be done.

Inspiration for this WOD goes to CrossFit Football.

Back Squats felt good tonight. I felt like the bar rested on my back more comfortably than the last time we did them. (Note: uneven bar problem) Slightly intimidated by the "150" push-ups. Wanted to go for at least 50 regular and the rest on my knees. But not quite, huh...

Ohh, and the knee feels fine. Must have just needed some time to settle down, or something. But glad it's not serious. Good job tonight Lori! See you all next week...

I like the way this set worked out (and the fact that my "groin" injury is gone)6 sets was fun
I also agree that the lower the bar was the more I felt like my whole body was lifting it...

Nice job, both of you on the PR's! TJ I'm really glad to hear your knee is better, too. =)
