Jerk
2-2-2-2-2
The jerk may either be split or push ("push jerk" is also sometimes referred to as a "power jerk").
Compare to 08/26/10.
How many KB get-ups can you get in 10:00?
Load: 1.5 pood/1 pood
08/26/10
The jerk involves quickness, strength, explosiveness, timing and the ability to catch and stabilize a weight overhead - all attributes of athleticism. (For all you wiseguys, "jerk" refers to the lift . . . not Andy)
Andy has a pretty solid receiving position for his split jerk. Can anyone see something that he could improve upon in his receiving position? Or perhaps in your own receiving position? Post thoughts to comments - we'll talk about it at class too. (Andy - you can respond too)

My form was bad at 125(reverse jerk) so I reduce to 105 last round.
10 minutes of KB get-up FUN!!!
35 get-ups with 1 pood.
To answer Phil's post;
Andy's right heal looks to be almost grounded. Is his knee too far forward, but his Testify shirt makes up for that.
