The Blarney Stone 5K race is tonight at 6:00 p.m., so there is no class this evening. Some of us will be meeting at CHS at 4:45 p.m. and then carpooling down to the River City Yacht Club (151 Freedom Park Road) for the race and refreshments afterward. Come on down and join us!

My fav part of the race was when we had about a half mile left and I look over my shoulder to see Peter keeping right up with me.
The stud took over with about 30 yards to go, to beat me by a second! Love it! Great job buddy!!!
Thanks for the Kudos TJ. I owe it all to you being my pace setter. My goal was to keep up with you. I was thinking you let me 'win' on the last few yards.

I'd like to start at the front of the pack next time and see how that goes. I always start in back and always get stuck behind many people, however maybe that helps me keep my breath and allows me to finish strong.
