A very moving video clip of an American Record being set in the men's 10,000 meter race.  The really interesting aspects are his size while accomplishing this feat and the fact that he wasn't really training for the event.

Welcome back, Jeni!  It's great to have you here!

Here is a testimony about Testify and about our LORD and Savior:
(Kiley and I were talking about our attitudes after the half-way point of a workout.)

Sometimes, when I am working out, I think....why am I doing this. I think, I can't do this. Then, about half way through, seeing the end, I resign myself to finishing. When I am done I am happy. But I still wonder, why do I do this.

This morning in my devotions I read Matthew 24 and I have an idea. Here are the verses that gave me a clue:

Matthew 24: 9"Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
If I can stay in the Bible and know what God has to say about the world, about me, about HIM...I will stand firm in the faith until the end. If I have the experience of living through these little practice sessions of pain, I will have the ability to stand against whatever there is to come. It gives me the attitude of , "Bring it!"

So I say....come Lord Jesus, quickly. Many of us are waiting and none will be disappointed.
