No, I wasn't at today's WO, but felt the need to post my day's results.

So me and my buddy swam our usual Saturday morning 1,500M, before I was off to run the Bennington race. I was using the 2 mile race as a sort of "time trial" to see if all this work I've been putting in (swimming, biking, running, CF, etc.) was actually working. We Crossfitters love seeing results, right??? Besides, I have a 5K in Chicago next weekend and I want to make sure I put up good numbers for that too.

Anyways, I set myself a goal of 14:30 for the two mile race and if I came in under 14 mins, I would be thrilled. Long story short, I finished behind two high school cross country runners, for 3rd place. My time?

12:40. A 6:20 pace, for approximately two miles. It was the fastest pace I'd ever run for that distance since high school. I was beyond happy...

The reason for my story: Stop wondering if you'll ever see results from your hard work and start testing (and believing in) yourself. See you all soon!
